Lil Sid Update

Lil Syd has grown and is a happy-go-lucky puppy. He gets on well with the cats & adores his big sis, Mika. He does have a thing about new plants (jealousy?) . Two times he's destroyed my new pepper plants! I had to put a fence around the garden! He loves to play with the hoses & tries to catch the water, but doesn't much care for getting wet in the sprinklers or the swimming pool, like Mika does.

We're going to get some 'Leadership Training' next month, he and I. I wonder who'll be doing the leading?? He does respond pretty well now to commands, though he does bark at guys who come into the yard. He likes the kids, but does get pretty frightened of all their noise when they're being rambunctious.

I'm hoping to take Mika and Syd up hiking quite a bit this summer. I even got Mika her own backpack so she can (hopefully) carry some water & dog treats. I should get that out and practice with her today!!! Hoping I'll have some fun photos to share from our hikes!
